Best Piñatas Phoenix 2008 - Arizona Piñatas

You'd think it would be easy to find piñatas in Phoenix. It is. But something special? Sure, chains like Food City and Party City carry a token selection of papier-mâché Disney characters and traditional piñatas, but they're all the same. Time and again shop owners told us that no one local does custom piñatas. Finally, a tip brought us to Arizona Piñatas, a little mom-and-pop shop based in Scottsdale. The downside is that there's no physical storefront, so you'll have to browse online and get your order shipped. Stock designs include sports-themed piñatas, animals, flowers, and the traditional round ball studded with large cones. They also carry pull-string models for toddlers who can't quite handle a bat. For a little extra cash, you can order candy and supplies or request a Disney princess, pink flamingo, or flying pig piñata. So why are these guys really the best? If you want a likeness of your boss to beat the crap out of, Arizona Piñatas will make it.

The customer below is incorrect, She provided the wrong address when she placed her order and I have the email with invoice confirmation to prove it.

Alex;

**Give us a call and let us know when you would like to pick up your money, we will have CASH WAITING FOR YOU.

We love to make everyone's experience a pleasant one, but here is the Customers full Story:

We sent a check to her and the check was eventually return, but not after I had to cancel the check, which cost us $MONEY.

This customer placed her order, then she called a few hours later to CANCEL her order, telling us that a friend was going to make the Pinata for her and she no longer needed to order it from us.

Then she called 3 days later to Place the order again?? This order had "RED FLAGS" to begin with.

She called us on Saturday afternoon saying that the tires had fallen off the pinata. We let her know that we could replace the pinata or give her a FULL REFUND if she wanted to return it. Being that she chose to keep it, we offered her 1/2 of the refund.

She said 1/2 was fine, we mailed out the check, we never heard from her, so we assumed that the check had been received.

The customer then sends a very rude email, asking where her money was, and stating that she would let everyone know to not ever purchase anything from our company!

After the nasty and rude email that she sent to us, I called her, and let her know that the check had been sent and gave her the Check #.

If she would have provided us with her real address, then we wouldn't have had this problem to begin with.

We sell quality pinatas and custom make all of our products, unfortunately we CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE!

*Remember Alex, you sent us the email confirmation, confirming that everything on the invoice was correct.

**You also called and told us to forget about the refund.

**Give us a call and let us know when you would like to pick up your money, we will have Cash WAITING FOR YOU.

I beg to differ....My experience with Arizona Pinatas has been one of disappointment. I ordered a pinata, not a difficult request, for my son's 5th birthday. I was looking for a place that could make a custom pinata with quality. As a hispanic myself I did not want to go with the quickly made, thin pinatas that are sold at local grocery stores. I found Arizona Pinatas and decided to go with them because after all they were supposed to be the Best of Phoenix! I ordered a Monster Truck pinata two weeks prior to the party and picked it up the day before. The pinata looked good, but I did notice the wheels were wobbly. I really didn't think anything of it and knew once the kids started hitting it that part would come off first regardless. Well when it came to filling it with candy the day of the party the pinata could not hold the weight and the whole thing collapsed. I hadn't even filled it half way. What a disappointment! My brother got out the glue gun and started repairing it so that it could be usable. I contacted Arizona Pinatas and they were equally disappointed, at least it sounded like they were. They agreed to send me a refund for the full amount. Of course I was please with that. Then I got a call back and was told that I could either return the product or settle with a half refund. At that point it was an hour before the party and I was not going to go out and buy another pinata to use. I agreed with the half refund. Well a month and a half later and I have not recieved a refund. Within that time I have called asking where it was and was told it was being mailed out. Well nothing came in the mail. The party was the end of January and it is now almost the end of March. I paid about $50 for this pinata that I had to do repairs to it before I even got to use it. Now I am being accused of providing a fake address, just because they can't own up to the fact that they may not be the "Best" of Phoenix. Next time I need a pinata, it will not be through them that is for sure. I am not telling anyone not to use them, just letting the public know how my experience has been with them.
