unskinnybop use to post ads on craigslist saying all these lies about what they had accomplished, none of it was true.
unskinnybop never had anyone who was famous get on stage and play with them, and they've been around for a long time.
oh they have tried to get gigs with bands such as warrant or firehouse, but their own preponderance of lies have earned unskinnybop a very bad non-credible reputation in the music business and so each and every time they were denied.
while it is true they did open for the atomic punks once(big deal, what band hasn't opened for the atomic punks in phoenix) and the fact is they wouldn't have been able to open up for them if they hadn't sold mandatory tickets to the show, and they lied to sell tickets saying it was for charity, ha ha, so they had to buy their way in to get that opportunity) and it was such a disaster that to this day they have never been asked to open for the the atomic punks again. in fact they were told to clean up any mess they made from their stageshow.(what band has ever been told that?)

hawaii(yes many musicians on craigslist are still waiting for unskinnybop to go to hawaii), lie about supposedly playing and recording in brazil, never played in japan, or any other destination they have made up going to. so do you get the idea? do just a little research and you'll discover that unskinnybop has no credibility.

unskinnybop can't play anywhere outside the state of Arizona because they end up going in debt and in the red. they are nothing but a bunch of old men with nylon and lipstick fetishes.

so if New Times is going to promote a non-credible band like unskinnybop, then its logical to presume New Times is somewhat non-credible as well. next time due the necessary research.

I guess you have never seen POSIN before then. POSIN was on VH1's "Serreal Life Season 6" with Poison's CC Deville. CC Deville was even quoted to say,"I have never seen it done better". POSIN also has tour coast to coast, as well as, played Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Canada. They are, "THE ONLY OFFICIAL NATIONAL TOURING POISON TRIBUTE BAND" that is endorsed by Poison themselves.

Was it just me or did this "Chris" guy seem to know a lot of intimate details about Unskinny Bop? I highly doubt his name was really Chris.
Unskinny Bop is a great band that puts on an awesome show, has good crowds and a party atmosphere. They are always really great to their fans. I know that Unskinny Bop has a former bass player that has posted on Backpage and Craigslist just to bash his former bandmates. I just have to ask, where is he now? Is he the "Chris" posting here?
Yes, I know the guys in the band, they are great guys! As to the former bass player: Wash your hair, get a life and move on already! PS: to the Girls, Donnie is very well endowed!

unskinnybop is an average bar band, and their only accomplishment is that they've opened up for the atomic punks.

and it wasn't a bass player that told me anything about unskinnybop but instead a previous guitar player who previously played in both their poison and bon-jovi tribute bands. I talk to this guy all the time.

it just so happened that I ended up jamming with this guitarist and was in a band with him, who had alot more to say then I ever printed, but most musicians won't deny unskinnybop is not credible.

so yeah there was in depth information in regards to unskinnybop, that was conveyed after jam sessions with this guitarist, but people can do their own research. and you will find that it's obvious unskinnybop is not credible.

what a pathetic typical strategy, you can't deny the truth about unskinnybop, so instead you try to discredit the poster, and put the poster on the defensive instead of unskinnybop answering for their lies.

I don't know about all these "lies" you are spouting off about, but I do know that they are a really great band, probably one of the best live shows in town. I am curious about your guitar friend who says he was in Unskinny Bop. That must have been years ago because Chad has been Unskinny Bop's guitar player for a long long time, 3 or 4 years perhaps. It sounds like your friend is bitter/jealous that they are having success without him. Just my .02

Ha! This is great! By the way this is UnSkinny Bop and thanks for all the free press. Just to clarify this is a disgruntled ex-bass player writing these things so we find it amusing. Bottom line is that we have achieved success, have played many shows across the U.S, we HAVE been asked back to open at the Marquee three times but refused because selling tickets is bullshit, Hawaii was on the table and pulled by the promoter which affected us and three other bands.

For the 99% of people out there who support us, thank you. For the 1% (ex-bass player who has screwed over many bands) keep talking about us, it gives us something to laugh about as we are on the airplane to play in Seattle (Dec 13th). Oh wait I thought we did not play outside of Arizona??
