Ask to try the coconut gelato and he'll also suggest you taste his favorite, mojito. Interested in Nutella? You should also sample the hazelnut gelato, called nocilla. "The secret is the fresh ingredients," Cohen says, as he brags about $300 shipments of pistachios from Sicily. The Gelato Maker opened in April and we're not telling how many times we've been since.
I don't know what everyone is talking about this gelato tasted like pure concentrated flavoring. It used to be called Jepe gelato and that shop closed down in less than 6 months. You guys can have the gelato maker I will hang out at The G Spot since they actually provided a free wi-fi and a lounge atmosphere hang out and mingle and don't make you feel wierd for hanging out too long.
Has ANYONE here not tried the gelato from the gelateria at La Grande Orange in Phoenix? I have been to Italy and savored the gelto throughout the country. This is the ONLY gelateria in Arizona that tastes identical to the gelato in Italy. I made the trip all the way into Scottsdale to try the gelto at The Gelto Maker. My heart started racing when I saw that they had blood orange flavor. This is my favorite gelato. I took one bite, and my heart sank... I knew I had made the trip for nothing :( The galato from La Grande Orange is a religious experience compared to this place. And the blood orange flavor over there will make you weak in the knees.
This is the best Gelato in the state of Arizona period. Between the new birthday cake flavor or the blood orange, you have variety and goodness at every level, I seriously haven't missed a day in 2 weeks and I have no problem with that. I have just had Gelato from the Gelato maker I came all the way from Tempe because I heard they where good; and WOW it was the best I have ever tasted. I spoke to the guy that actually makes the stuff(yarod)and this is for real gelato. Not like that crappy I had been getting at the G SPOT. The gelato maker staff was a very pleasant and greeted me right away. That�s a change not like the others guys. They actually said hello instead of playing on their phones like the kids at the other place do ignoring me. And also they had better fresh flavors. So all in all the gelato maker kicks G Spot out the window and I will be going to them and them only for my gelato.
The Gelato Maker is THE Best Gelato in Arizona. I should know, since I've tried all of them. Everyone who tries The Gelato Maker, just once...... never wants to go anywhere else. Congratulations!!!
