An old and sad subject is the problem of Americans getting distilleries in Mexico to fill brands that are owned by them. Some of these distilleries fill forty and fifty brands. The real problem is the outrageous claims made by these brand owners. "Certified Organic by the FDA" is one of these. The FDA does not certify what they can't watch grow. They inspect over and over again. However, they do not go to Mexico to inspect. Especially a crop that takes up to 12 years to mature. This particular distillery makes 10 different brands, nine of which do not claim to be organic. The agave for these brands are not kept isolated, nor are the distillation runs. It really gets infuriating.
