My friend opened up a consignment shop a few years ago and recently she had a New Times rep come into the store to see if she would like to advertise in the magazine and compete for the "Best of Phoenix" for Best Consignment Store. She paid for an add and then let all of her customers know that they could vote for her and how they could vote for her. I told all of my friends that shop there and everyone I know voted including from what she says A LOT of the returning customers said they voted for her numerous times. Well today I called her to see if she had won and she said that there is not even a Best Consignment Store award...WTF? The rep told her to vote in readers choice and to write it in and now its not even a category. Way to go New Times.

Taco Migo on Baseline and I-10 is amazing. Fresh tacos served in a very clean, well maintained place. The taco meat is cooked and spiced like Mom's. The price is right for my family on a budget. I will be back!

I am glad to not be disappointed to see Little Saigon voted BOP by readers! I've never tried Da Vang, so I can't comment whether that was the right pick by NT, but I voted as well for Little Saigon; I've found it to be nothing short of amazing and wonderful.
