The porta-potty is an unheralded savior. Using those plastic offices of sit-down business is weird, but who else has our backs at musical festivals and other big outdoor fiestas? Who keeps the portable toilets rocking, rolling, and ready for our rear-end refuse?
Kenny, a mockumentary-style flick presented by the Phoenix Film Society, semi-answers that question. The flick follows its eponymous protagonist, a cheerful bloke whose life is maintaining temporary toilet units (or porta-loos) around Australia. Shane Jacobson who portrays the affable main character, having scripted the tale with his brother, Clayton eventually finds himself at the International Pumper and Cleaner Expo in Nashville, the Super Bowl of waste-management conventions.
