Animal House

Dorothy Gale contended that there's no place like home. But if we recall correctly her extended dream sequence that included a trip to Oz, it would seem that all she really needed throughout her yellow brick-paved journey was her little pup, Toto. The awh-inducing terrier bit old, mean ladies, barked at bad guys, and snuggled up with her as needed. Really, when it comes to friendship, who could ask for more?

“Extreme Pets” takes a deep look at humans and their relationships with animals through vivid, artistic depictions of pets from cuddly companions to unconditionally loving lizards.

Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sundays, 12-4 p.m. Starts: May 25. Continues through Sept. 9, 2012
