It's impossible to deny that Phoenix is an emerging culinary destination for food lovers and aspiring chefs alike. Our hometown heroes may not have taken home any coveted James Beard Awards this year, but this state's chefs have more than enough talent to feed the hordes of foodists for Spring Arizona Restaurant Week.
The twice-annual statewide event gives food lovers a chance – and a good excuse – to inexpensively explore the offerings of some of Arizona's best restaurants. Each of the 100-plus participating eateries will create a special three-course menu for the 10-day occasion. Been dying to try Bink's Midtown? They've got sesame-glazed pork belly and more for $30, while Cowboy Ciao offers their famous exotic mushroom pan fry for just $10.
Catch the dining deals now through Monday, May 27, at dozens of Valley eateries. Three-course prix-fixe menus are available for dinner only and cost either $30 or $40. Beverages may be included. Tickets are not required, but reservations are highly recommended. Check out the complete list of participating restaurants and their menus at www.arizonarestaurantweek.com.
