Break for Cyclists
Whether youre a gonzo gravy dog, a chain gang grunt, or a bone-shaking basket case, the Rusty Spoke, a volunteer organization dedicated to bicycle advocacy in Phoenix, invites velocipedes of all types to shed their skidlids and slide out of their saddles for a one-night party pit-stop.
With a portion of the proceeds going to Phoenix Food Not Bombs, a group of independent collectives serving free vegan and vegetarian food, two-wheel travelers can nosh healthy-like while listening to local bands like Cultura Libertaria, The Nod Squad, and The Karmetics; redeem raffle tickets for free bikes and skateboards; or make a spectacle of their spokes in bike games like the slalom, tandem events, and fastest tube change.
