The McDowell Mountain Music Festival doesnt boast an orthodox rock-festival-type lineup, but then, most rock shows dont give away their dough. The MMMF folks spread the wealth and, more impressive, they do it with style. Its the exceedingly rare charity event thats actually cool.
Over the course of two days/nights Friday and Saturday, April 25 and 26 the Polo Grounds at WestWorld of Scottsdale will thump to an eclectic array of indie, Americana, and world sounds by the likes of Govt Mule (Fridays headliner), John Butler Trio (Saturdays), the subdudes, Blues Traveler, the Wailers, and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.
All proceeds benefit local childrens charities to be announced.
