Once a year the number of food trucks in Phoenix swells as nearly three dozen mobile eateries from across the Southwest gather for the Street Eats Food Truck Festival at Salt River Fields, 7555 North Pima Road in Scottsdale. In addition to a mob of mobile eateries, the festival brings celebri-chefs Adam Richman and Geoffrey Zakarian to the Valley for live cooking demonstrations.

Such local standbys as Old Dixie’s Southern Kitchen and Pizza People will be on-site, along with fresh faces Angie's Americas Foodie (specializing in Alaskan Reindeer Sausage), Queso Diyas, and Rockin' Ray's Highway Diner, which features San Francisco crab rolls. From other states are Nevada’s Haulin' Balls, specializing in meatball sandwiches ,and California-based Devilicious, featuring lobster grilled cheese. Wash the grub down with drinks from one of the four bars sponsored by Valley favorites Majerle’s Sports Grill and Whiskey River Saloon.
