Sure, Hulk and Thor can thwart evil with the best of them, but when it comes to getting laughs, we’ll put our money on Comedy Avengers. The side-splitting evening of entertainment will feature over 20 up-and-coming comics including Steve Marek, John Higbee, Angela Merkin Haines, Steve Maxwell, Zed Phillips, Ali Musa, Bill Laskowski, Geoff Picaretta, and Negative Steve; plus improv troupes and sketch groups like Funnel Cake, FFNL, and Bully Mammoth. Live music will be provided by local acts Dinosaur Love, Nerdzerker, and Fathers Day. The event runs from 8 p.m. to midnight on Friday, March 20, at ThirdSpace, 1028 Grand Avenue.
