When Grandmas craft box is suddenly bringing back the sexy or at least picking up an eclectic retro soundtrack it stands to reason that wed be intrigued.
Enter Fall SMoCA Nights: Stitched an evening of fashion inspired by modern craft culture and the exhibit Radical Lace & Subversive Knitting. Models will present Smock You by Alison Wilson, Kitsch Niche by Tara Kratzner-Bills, and other crafty pieces by local designers, all set to the sounds of live 60s-era music by Acapulco Five-0 and the spins of deep-house DJ dk.strickler. Attendees are encouraged to try their hand at putting crafty outfits together for the occasion.
