For the past 30 years, fifth-generation Californian Cathryn Fairlee has traveled the world bringing tales to life. Tonight, shell tell the story of the Mahabharata, one of two major Sanskrit epics of ancient India. In addition to chronicling two warring families, the death of Hindu god Krishna, and the rise of Kali, the Hindu legend is rife with philosophical tenets and includes the Bhagavad Gita.
In other words, some fairly epic stuff.
