Planning to put on a morbid, gory or otherwise edgy costume this Halloween? You might want to celebrate the day at Joe's Grotto in Phoenix. The bar features a hard-edged lineup on Saturday, October 30. Rock band Two Dollar Grey, comprised of musicians who previously played in Evolocity, Halogen, Siop and Twist Dead Fable, before coming together in May, are one to watch at the show. Since forming, 2DG has already written a full-length album, which they start recording next week and which will be released early next year. Besides being your last chance to hear the band perform before they take a break from playing out to record, the night is also special because Jagermeister is doing a promotion with giveaways and drink specials. There will also be cash prizes for outstanding costumes. The 21-and-older show starts at 8 p.m. and costs $10. Get a preview of the show by logging on to www.myspace.com/twodollargrey.
