Homes for the Holidays
Find out why all those folks who live in old homes in downtown Phoenix are so dang house-proud at this weekends 24th annual F.Q. Story Historic Home Tour. The event takes place up and down Storys Lynwood Street, where historic bungalows, Spanish Revival, Tudor, and Transitional Ranch homes will throw open their doors and let you poke around in them.
Architecture fans, curious suburbanites, and plain old Nosy Parkers will descend on Phoenixs oldest historic district this evening for a festive holiday kickoff featuring Christmas carolers and a luminaria display. Trolley service, food vendors, and a crafts fair are part of the fun.
Sat., Dec. 6; Sun., Dec. 7, 2008
