Who? What? Where? And, the most important of the bunch, why? These are the questions that drive any artist. Painting a pretty picture or taking a handsome photo might be nice, but it's nowhere near the true function of art, which is to answer these questions.
Named after and inspired by the old kids game, 20 Questions, the latest exhibit at the Tempe Center for the Arts utilizes purposefully ambiguous pieces of art by 12 Arizona artists to move the viewer to question not what these works are, but what they mean.
That's not to say there isn't some levity to be had at the show. The interactive exhibit promises an artwork-based scavenger hunt for adults, coloring pages for kids, a gaming lounge, and an opportunity to discuss what is seen using the social media tools du jour.
