Rappers might have furthered the multi-pronged hustle of stepping out of music to pursue careeers in TV and film, but comedian Anjelah Johnson is flipping the script right back. The MADtv alum steps to the mic at Stand Up Live this Friday, September 7.

The one-time Oakland Raiderette cheerleader works all of the angles of social media and leverages them into a line of clothing inspired by her carousel of comedic characters. While she's no stranger to the airwaves, Johnson's biggest hit might be “I’M A CUT YOU,” the hater-shaking anthem released last spring as Bon Qui Qui, her mouthy fast food worker persona. Garnering more than a million hits on YouTube, the song is a good intro to the energy Johnson’s impersonations infuse into her observational humor.
