For more than a decade, the Queen Creek Olive Mill has been perfecting the art of olive growing at the base of the San Tan Valley Mountains. In fact you'll find more than 16 varieties of olives growing at Arizona's only working olive farm and mill.
On Tuesday, September 12, you can taste the fruits of all that labor at the farm's “Flavors of Summer” Tavolo Dinner, a four-course event with wine pairings from Arizona, California, and beyond. In Italian Tavolo means "table," so look forward to sharing your meal at a long farm table. The menu includes Asian pear salad, pan-roasted halibut, and a berry tart with struesel.
