Charlie Silvercloud III is one gloomy Gus, but with good reason. The pessimistic protagonist of the 2006 indie flick Expiration Date is certain he’s destined to die in the same freaky fashion as his father and grandfather: getting struck by a milk truck on his 25th birthday. With only a week remaining until the big occasion, Silvercloud spends his days shopping for caskets and returning overdue library books until a chance meeting with a girl gives him hope that his fate ain’t so certain after all. Will he escape certain death? Stop by for a special showing of Expiration Date at the Heard Museum on Monday, March 21, to find out.
