On Thursday, Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP), will host a three-course dinner at the PHX Renews site featuring some of Arizona's up-and-coming chefs and C-CAP alumni. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour featuring drinks from mixologist Micah Olson of Crudo & Bar Crudo and appetizers prepared by C-CAP teachers and students. Dinner will feature courses from chefs Jared Porter of Clever Koi, Matt Fenton of Tarbell's, and Therese Hills of My Sweet Blessings Bakery and will be emceed by Beau MacMillan of Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain and Mark Tarbell of Tarbell's restaurant. The event costs $150 for general admission and $75 of the ticket price is tax deductible. Tickets can be purchased online. C-CAP is a national non-profit organization that "prepares at-risk high school students for college and careers in the restaurant and hospitality industry."
