Having a doctorate in arcane British lit might not seem like the fastest track to fortune, but canny author Philippa Gregory snapped on something few others grasped: those feisty Tudors (her specialty) were as jam-packed with sex appeal and drama queens as any 10 Disney Channel shows. Gregorys 2002 novel The Other Boleyn Girl was made into an A-list flick in which Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson chewed the scenery in push-up bras, and were betting Hollywoods already laying odds on which sexpot will bust out the royal cleavage as Mary Queen of Scots in the adaptation of The Other Queen, Gregorys latest.
