Boats are backdrops to some great stories, from Jack and Rose’s whirlwind romance in Titanic to The Lonely Island’s adventures with T-Pain in “I’m on a Boat.” Shipwrecks, flippy-floppies, and P. An ocean liner is the setting for Cole Porter’s classic musical Anything Goes, which finds a lovestruck Billy sneaking aboard to pursue his new love interest, Hope. The young heiress is engaged to a stiff nobleman. So, Billy and his friends try to break them up. The shenanigans include fashioning a beard of Pomeranian hair, winning Chinese clothing in a strip poker match, and posing as Public Enemy Number One, all to win Hope’s affections.
