While American pop singers were busy having babies and/or not wearing underwear in public last year, the Brits were turning out starlets faster than crumpets. But unlike the hugely famous Katy Perry and Amy Winehouse, South Londons Adele snatched not one but two Grammys without a bi-curious façade or a public smack addiction. Its all because of hits like Chasing Pavements, a tune that showcases the 20-year-olds sizeable vocal stylings, which resonate somewhere between Fiona Apple and Leslie Feist.
