The Butterfly Effect
Some Phoenicians believe that spring is just a myth perpetuated by greeting card companies and the Easter Bunny. Its easy to believe, given that the sunny, 70-degree weather that most people associate with spring doesnt always stick around in these parts.
But even if the weather doesnt play along, there are other ways to grab hold of that elusive season, like at the Desert Botanical Gardens Spring Butterfly Exhibit. There is nothing more spring-like than watching butterflies sipping from their favorite flowers and maybe even stopping to rest on your shoulder. This annual event allows guests the opportunity to mingle with hundreds of the winsome winged creatures in an enclosed pavilion.
