Its not as if Robin Williams retired from standup once Hollywood came a-calling unlike, say, Eddie Murphy but the Actor Previously Known as Mork certainly seemed to disappear from the live stage after his juggernaut runs through70s and 80s Hollywood translated to Academy Award-caliber fame. Sure, Williams popped back up for 2002s Live on Broadway trek and corresponding CD/DVD, but his current continuation of 2008s highly personal Weapons of Self-Destruction theater run finds the manic impressionist as sharp and versatile as ever.
