And now, ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to announce a one-night-only event filled with murder, mayhem, and all that jazz! A soiree celebrating the red-hot moving picture Chicago hits the stage at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at the Pumphouse II, 4132 East McDowell, a secluded night crawl lavished in smiles and sequins. The show wows the crowd with prizes, decor, and sparkling cabaret acts to bead and feather the scintillating sinners and ding-dong daddies begging for more. Strippers scantily clad in costume roused by the Roaring Twenties, and drag performed by the likes of Rhianna Matthews (pictured, in leather and fishnets) reenacting scenes from the silver-screen flick, are sure to razzle and dazzle this whoopee spot. With every drink purchase, a raffle ticket is given for a chance to win the Chicago DVD. But keep your socks up, fellas, 'cause you ain't seen nothin' yet. Long and Drawn Out
Let's create a panel
Experience a sketchy one-night stand you won't later regret by joining other doodlers in a comic book creation marathon. This 24-hour, art endurance event is open to all scribblers starting at 3 p.m. Friday, May 20, at the Trunk Space, 1506 Grand Avenue. The slumber party commemorates the gallery's "Bam! Sequential Art & Comics in the Post-Post Modern Era" show. The exhibition features original comic book and 'zine art, ranging from underground local talent to the legendary Robert Crumb. The show runs through June 15. Call 602-256-6006. -- Douglas Towne

Cigar, but no clothes
Wanted: Gorgeous, naked SWM with rippled abs, golden tan, smooth chest and buns of steel seeking open-minded adult art appreciators to ogle, fantasize over, and purchase a photo of me lounging lasciviously on a faux white fur rug. I will be on display from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the "Sensual Nudes" exhibition at Exposed Studio & Gallery, 3302 North Third Street. Must be open to group outings, as I am hanging with sexy emulsion transfers by Pearl Racette, paintings by Charles Jarm, paintings and sculptures by Wim Griffith, leather sculptures by Rick Esping, photography by Gregg Edelman, and watercolor paintings by Joy Burkey. Did I mention that we're all naked? So come on, baby -- call us art, take us home, and show us off to your friends. See our stuff for free, but hurry -- the exhibition ends Friday, May 20.
