Iron out that poodle skirt, put on your high-tops, and grab your Pink Ladies jacket, because Danny, Sandy, Rizzo, Kenickie, and the rest of the Rydell High gang are coming to the stage for some theatrical summer lovin' in Grease. The Broadway musical of 1950s Americana invites you to shake and shimmy in your seat to the songs we all know by heart: “Beauty School Dropout,” “We Go Together,” and “Summer Nights.” This show promises to be beautomatic, systematic, hydromatic – well, it's greased lightning.
Grease opens at 7:30 p.m. Friday, August 16, and runs through September 1 at Mesa Arts Center, 1 East Main Street. Tickets range in price from $12 to $25. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 480-644-6500 or visit www.mesaartscenter.com.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, 2:30 p.m. Starts: Aug. 16. Continues through Sept. 1, 2013
