If you’re ever in a dicey neighborhood and you see a white girl with cornrows, just know that Tom Segura is thinking about you. Okay, he’s probably not. But you can sure as hell bet he knows what that probably underbite-saddled chick is thinking. The L.A.-based comedian has been steadily climbing the comedy charts with two albums, Thrilled and White Girls With Cornrows. With his dry, decisive style of humor, Segura teaches us that not only should we not feel guilty for judging others, we should do it more often.
Tom Segura's in town through Sunday, January 19, performing at Stand Up Live, 50 West Jefferson Street. Showtime is 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 16. Tickets are $17 with a two-drink minimum. For more details, visit www.standuplive.com or call 480-719-6100.
