It’s been said that the toughest thing to do in football is beat a team three times. If that’s the case, then the Arizona Rattlers are lucky to be playing the San Jose SaberCats in the first round of the AFL playoffs. Although the SaberCats swept the Rattlers in their past two matchups, the Rattlers still managed to secure home-field advantage by posting a better overall record.
The Rattlers will try to prove that the third time is the charm when they take on the SaberCats on Saturday. The game will likely come down to which high-powered offense has the ball last. The SaberCats have the second best offense in the league, but they’ve had trouble playing defense, so the game should be a shootout -- even by Arena Football standards.
