I could cancel my cell phone, the Internet, and go live in the trees. Yeah, that’s right. Reside in nature, just like dude in The Baron in the Trees. Hell, yeah! I’ll show all y’all suckers.”

Whoa, there, John Muir. Don’t get too hasty now. Instead of ditching a firm mattress and a clean wardrobe for an arboreal lifestyle, how about taking some baby steps during the Arizona Tree Climbing Championship? The all-day shindig will feature tree aficionados squaring off in various skills competitions – ranging from the work climb to the footlock – for a spot in the Western Chapter ISA Tree Climbing Championship in Reno.
