Hustle and bustle often leaves us looking forward to our imminent needs and desires. We rarely find time to stop and reflect on how we've made it to this point or those responsible for getting us here. Most of us have in our hearts a special collective of important figures in our lives that have made valuable impressions on our being. But when was the last time you can say you paid homage to their contribution?

Xico Arts' 33rd annual El Dia de los Muertos: A Celebration of Life festival will pay respect owed to fallen souls, while appreciating the time we have now to shape and nurture new generations. In conjunction with the City of Chandler, the festival will bring together displays of native folk art, traditional music and dance, storytelling, children's activities, and ethnic foods throughout the day. A community altar and candlelight procession will lead attendees into the evening of gratitude for life and remembrance.
