This is the stuff of nightmares for any social-media strategist, but sadly, there are still many businesses with a similar mindset. Today, even technologically out-of-touch businesses know that social-media – “whatever that is” – plays an important role in marketing, but don’t have the slightest idea how or why.

This year marks the third installment of the Social Media AZ (SMAZ) Conference, where professionals from social-media, interactive marketing, search engine optimization, and other online-savvy businesses share strategies and ideas on how to use social-media to increase business.
