Club DJs of the P-Town, we feel your pain. You endlessly work the same local joints week after endless week, slaving over the turntables and beat-matching your brains out for a bunch of selfish and snotty hotties, all the while dreaming of blowing this burg for far-flung destinations and superstardom à la Z-Trip or DJ Radar. Markus Schulz is another spinster success story, as the German-born trance DJ spent most of the late '90s working wax at the now-defunct nightspot The Works and hosting "The Edge Factor" on KEDJ before remixing artists like Fat Boy Slim, Depeche Mode, or Everything But The Girl and landing jet-setting gigs around the globe from Ibiza to Kuala Lumpur. Schulz might even offer you some advice when his visits Myst, 7340 East Shoeman Lane in Scottsdale, on Sunday, May 27, for a special set. Timothy Heit, Spencer Thomas, Matty, and John Christopher are also scheduled to spin. Doors open at 9 p.m. and admission costs $12. Call 602-970-5000.
