Now, don’t get all ethnocentric, because these aren’t the Italians who groped your girlfriend at a club during her summer abroad. Rather, the Junkies – with their dashes of blues, hints of surf, and pinches of psychedelic punk – are love at first listen for fans of the Black Lips and King Khan, as well as for anyone who digs the kind of lo-fi rock ’n’ roll best achieved at the bottom of a tin can.
