This year marks the 75th anniversary of architect Frank Lloyd Wright's Scottsdale home, studio, and workspace, Taliesin West. To celebrate, Phoenix Art Museum will present "Frank Lloyd Wright: Organic Architecture for the 21st Century," a milestone perspective on the architect's 70-year career and countless contributions to modern architecture with rarely seen models, photographs, furniture, and sketches.
The exhibition, which opens on Sunday, December 18, at 1625 North Central Avenue, outlines the three principles most important to Wright's organic architecture -- appropriateness to time, place, and people -- through the lens of modern sustainable architecture trends and goals.
Wednesdays-Sundays, noon. Starts: Dec. 18. Continues through April 29, 2011
