If you've ever been part of one of the obstacle course adventure runs that have become so popular over the past few years, then you know their main drawback: skill level disparity. A seasoned triathlete going for prize money can be slowed down by a team of office shlubs doing some leisurely team-building, while pushy athletes can likewise upset those just looking for some exercise.
The Toro Loco Challenge offers a simple solution to this problem: separate courses. On one side you have the Raging Bull, a 10-kilometer race for competitive athletes that features cargo net climbs, 200-foot ziplines, and all the cardiovascular expenditure you can handle. On the other end, there's the Leisurely Longhorn, a mere 5K jaunt built for families and dogs with obstacles you can simply walk around if you're not into it.
