Roses are... Well, you know, they aren't always red. They come in all sorts of shades. For empirical evidence, head to The Rose Garden at Mesa Community College, where consulting rosarians and master gardeners lead tours through the spectrum of reds, yellows, pinks, and more.
The garden was established in 1997, thanks to members of the Mesa-East Valley Rose Society, an organization that oversees the upkeep of the 2,000 flowers.
Get your botany on during the final guided garden tour of the season, which takes place at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 26.
