What’s the only thing more satisfying than a good party? How about a party for a good cause? This summer, the Fundación para las Artes Latino-Americanas, better know as FALA, brings just that with its inaugural fundraising fête the FALA Gala.
This evening of Latin entertainment and dinning, hosted by Carlos Velasco and Catherine Miranda, will feature live performances from Tania Libertad, the Tradiciones Dance Company, and Flamenco por la Vida. Funds from the event will go towards building a Centro de Rehabilitacion Integral Teleton (CRIT), a hospital that cares for children with disabilities, in Baja, California.
The FALA Gala will kick off at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 31, inside The Pressroom, 441 West Madison Street. The actual show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this benefit event are $150 per person or $2,500 for a table of 10.
