Today from 5 pm till close, Sens Asian Tapas and Sake Bar in downtown Phoenix will be hosting a fundraiser along with the American Red Cross to raise money for Haiti relief and development efforts. One hundred percent of the proceeds from food sales will go to the Red Cross -- so eat up for a good cause.
The American Academy of Pediatrics is quite demanding. Recently they have asked that labels be put on hot dogs and other potentially dangerous food products to warn parents that their kids could potentially choke on said food item. If they really were able to get their way, they would ultimately like to see the Hot Dog redesigned into a less dangerous shape(how weird would that be?). USA Today has the details here.
What about horses? You like horses? If you do, get your tickets now to Wildhorse Ranch Rescue's 4th Empty Bowls Event which is taking place March 6th in Gilbert. The event is a fundraiser for horses in need. A $25 donation will get you an artist's bowl, homemade soup, and biscuits. Live music and a patio bar are among the festivities.
