An early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives.

If you're a true fan of craft beer or you just want to try something a little different, head to Taste of Tops in Tempe for a pint of freshly tapped Monk's Café Flemish Sour Ale.

Brewed special by Brouwerij Van Steenberge N.V. for the Monk's Café bar in Pennsylvania, this palette-challenging beer won't be around for long, so go ahead and make Tuesday the new Friday. We won't tell.

Those do-gooders at The Melting Pot are at it again. This month they're fighting against Cystic Fibrosis.

For the entire month of May, purchase one of three new specialty cocktails and The Melting Pot will donate $2 directly to the Arizona chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Click here for locations.

We'll be the first to admit that the idea of a Lady Gaga cake sounds like a great idea, but holy cow, wait til you see this one in action.

It doesn't take a lot to scare us when it come to bad desserts but this one takes the cake (pun totally intended). Click here to see for yourself.

On the other hand, here's an out-of-the-ordinary combination has us totally intrigued -- in a good way. The thought of Jalapeno Ice Cream is so tempting that an ice cream maker is now at the top of our list of kitchen must haves. And if you think jalapenos are for amateurs, kick it up a notch and try White Chocolate-Habanero Ice Cream. What could be better then sugar, cream and habaneros?
