Food Truck Friday at the Arizona State Capitol Friday, September 20
If you work around the Arizona State Capitol building here's some good news regarding your Friday lunch options. There's a new food truck court in town that's bringing good eats to your neck of the woods. From 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. you'll be able to find a handful of local food trucks parked in front of the Capitol at 17th Ave and Adams. The line up includes regulars such as Q Up BBQ, Luncha Libre, the Grilled Cheese Truck and Mister Softee but changes weekly. Picnic style seating is available on the lawn.

Oktoberfest Kickoff and Keg Tapping Saturday, September 21
This Saturday Scottsdale's Brat Haus is kicking off their month-long Oktoberfest celebration with a keg tapping event with Mayor Jim Lane. In homage to true Munich style, the celebration will begin at noon with the keg tapping ceremony, followed by a day of authentic German bratwurst and pretzels. You'll have your choice of six German beers available on tap including Krombacher German pilsner, Maisel's Weisse hefeweizen and Hofbrau Oktoberfest. Arizona Fall Restaurant Week Begins Saturday, September 21

More than 100 Phoenix-area restaurants participate in the 9-day event by offering dinner menus for either $30 or $40. Latin Passport Dinner Series: Cuba Saturday, September 21
Join downtown Phoenix's Province on thier culinary tour of Latin America this weekend as the voyage lands in the island country of Cuba. This month, the restaurant is transporting eaters to the Carribean to showcase the country's unique cuisine, a fusion of Spanish, African and Caribbean foods. The special four-course menu includes Ropa Vieja Empanada with cilantro cream and Mojo Glazed Pork Belly with black beans and rice. Lunch at the Gladly
It may only have been a few weeks since The Glady, the new Biltmore restaurant courtesy of Citizen Public House's Bernie Kantak, opened up but already they've added lunch to their repertoire. The new lunch menu includes some the CPH favorite The Orignial Chopped Salad as well as a few items from the dinner menu including the Wagyu burger, buttermilk chicken breast and duck ramen. A few of the totally new options include an olive oil poached tuna melt, pork belly bah mi and yellowtail tacos. The restaurant is now opened from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
