The film is called Chocolate because the young girl at the center of the story, Zen, eats small candy coated chocolates (much like m&m's) by bouncing them off of her wrist and catching them in her mouth. We added the candy Sixlets to a ginger butter popcorn, that really packs a punch.

For this tangy and simple salad we started with this basic recipe from Food & Wine, adding cabbage and noodles to it. Prepare rice stick according to package directions and toss in the lime juice and fish sauce dressing. Shred cabbage and toss in dressing as well. To plate, place noodles first, then cabbage, then mint/cilantro mix. Top with vegetables and beef. We found thinly sliced rib eye at Lee Lee market, and seared it quickly on each side before serving.
Ginger Butter Popcorn with Chocolate Candies
Pop ½ cup of popcorn kernels in ¼ vegetable oil. Add crushed ginger to melted butter to taste. Toss with popcorn. Spread on cookie sheet and place in oven on 250 degrees for 15 minutes. Place in bowl and sprinkle with candies.
