It seems like anything and everything comes pickled these days, but sometimes it's nice to stick to the basics and enjoy some good old-fashioned dill pickles. Lille Mae's pickled veggies offer everything from cured garlic to pickled beets and dilly beans (which are great for a bloody mary garnish), but the dill pickle spears, which have a visible and flavorful dill presence, are a great option for any fridge. We say fridge because the 24-hour pickled treats are super fresh and need a bit more babying than their grocery store shelf cousins.

What Else to Grab: Cilantro-chili pickle slices

Dawn Peterson, the one-woman-show behind Lillie Mae's , started the company in homage to her grandmother. The original recipe is based off of her grandmother's recipe, which she started experimenting with after Peterson "took a dive off the corporate ladder," as she puts it. Lucky for her, that dive has paid off and she currently sells about 3,000 containers every week at local grocers, farmers markets and soon in stores in California. Grab one for yourself and see what all the buzz is about, but beware because the DIY packaging is prone to be a little leaky.
