Beer lovers looking to support a good cause this weekend can head to the Icehouse in downtown Phoenix for Fetiv-Ale, a beer tasting event to raise money for the non-profit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. General admission to the event costs $75 and includes a 4 oz. souvenir tasting glass, 12 beer tastings, and hors d'oeuvre stations from local restaurants. VIP admission is also available for $125, which includes catered passed hors d'oeuvres, two "Golden Tickets" for full pours of beer, one additional hour of private tasting, and a talk from special guest speaker AZ Wilderness Brewing owner Jonathan Buford. iCream Cafe Saturday, December 6

If you're still on the fence about the idea of dessert that's frozen with liquid nitrogen, here's your chance to test out the idea for free. This Saturday the newly opened iCream Cafe at Mesa Riverview, 929 N. Dobson Road Ste 104, will celebrate its grand opening by offering a free small dessert to customers. Diners can choose from a variety of liquid bases (including yogurt, ice cream or sorbet), add a favorite flavor, and a variety of mix-ins. Cooking Class with Chef James Monaci: The Art of Cheese Making Sunday, December 7

Get ready to get cheesy this Sunday with chef James Monaci at Luci's Healthy Marketplace in Phoenix. Chef Monaci will lead a cheese making class during which students will learn the art of making cheese from scratch. The class will also serve as an introduction to latticini, or "the family of fresh-milk cheeses such as mozzarella, burrata and ricotta."
