O.H.S.O. Distillery Opens Today
Get excited, Scottsdale-ites! The second location of Arcadia's O.H.S.O. nanoBrewery opens in North Scottsdale today. Called O.H.S.O. Distillery, the restaurant and bar is located at 15681 North Hayden Road and will offer food items, specialty drinks, and beers not available at the original location. But like the Arcadia spot, the new location is dog friendly and encourages patrons to ride their bikes there. For more information, check the O.H.S.O. Facebook page.
Arizona Spring Restaurant Week Starts on Saturday, March 17
We hope you're hungry because this weekend kicks off Arizona Spring Restaurant Week, a 10-day dining event taking over the Valley and state. Food lovers are encouraged to dine out at participating restaurants, each of which will offer a special Restaurant Week menu for either $30 or $40 a person. AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Fest Saturday, March 17
Craft beer aficionados will head to the Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza this Saturday for the AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival. The event will bring together dozens of breweries pouring hundred of beers -- including some that aren't otherwise available in state. Add live music and local food trucks and you're in for a good time. Admission costs $35 in advance or $45 at the gate and includes a souvenir sampling can and 20 beer samples. The only hard part will be deciding which brews to try.
Food Truck Caravan Scottsdale Saturday, March 17
On Saturday night, you'll find a handful of local food trucks at the weekly Food Truck Caravan Scottsdale. This week the lineup includes Menime's Wacky Waffle Truck, Frank's, Bent Fork, Extra Virgin, Press Italian, Saffron JAK, and Super Farm Super Truck. Cocina 10 at Crescent Ballroom
Cocina 10 at Crescent Ballroom has introduced a few new summer items to the menu of both the sweet and savory varieties. The new items include a blackened shrimp burrito, Sonoran Caesar salad, and a Sonoran dog made with Schreiner's meats. The restaurant also will introduce its own housemade chocolates made with Belgian cocoa. There are three infused varieties, including a chile de arbol infusion, one with pumpkin seeds and salt, and another with cinnamon.
