The perfect gift for caffiene addicts with a passion for all things flashy and unnecessary has finally arrived in the form of a $450 metal gift card to Starbucks.
Last December, the coffee giant released 5,000 steel cards, and they sold out in all of, like, five seconds. So if you want to get into the Rich People of Starbucks club, you're going to have to act fast.

The cards will go on sale online at Gilt.com/starbucksrose at 10 a.m. Arizona time.
Only 1,000 cards will be released and each will cost $450. They come loaded with $400 worth of Starbucks money and entitle the owner to automatic Gold Member status, which gets free drinks and other cool coffee things.
Here's what the Starbucks website has to say about the cards:
The card, each hand-assembled, features a gorgeous artisan rose base metal with rose colored coating, laser-etched with traditional Starbucks lettering. Gilt and Starbucks are working together for the second year in a row to offer customers an all-metal gift card -- this time, in a stunning rose gold hue in an even more limited offering.
That's right, "a stunning rose gold hue."
Anyway, if you get one, you can use it only at participating Starbucks stores in the United States. Sorry, jet-setters, you're still going to have to pay cash for your latte in Denmark.
