True Blood: The 10 Best Sex Scenes (NSFW)

There are those who say that Truebies (a.k.a. fans of the HBO series True Blood) only watch the show for its plentiful, raunchy, and often blood-soaked sex scenes. While in plenty of cases that's not entirely true, no one seems to be complaining about seeing Nordic hottie Alexander Skarsgård, who plays Eric Northman, get naked or Ryan Kwanten's character Jason Stackhouse bone, like, everyone on set. A few seasons ago it seemed like we couldn't go more than 10 minutes without watching someone get it on — hell, there was a whole plot line about a supernatural woman who made people have orgies! But we have to admit things have calmed down of late. We're nearly halfway through season six, and so far there's been a serious dearth of sexy times. To explain this scene, we have to start with the fact that, for regular people, vampire blood is a drug with effects similar to ecstasy (or, uh, so we hear). And it only seems right to kick off the list with a scene from the show's resident sex fiend, Jason Stackhouse. Sex scenes involving Jason, of which there are many, are usually long and explicit. And this one from the first season is no exception. In it, he and his V-addict girlfriend have hot, steamy sex while the vampire they drained, tortured, and later will kill watches nearby.


The Orgy
Remember that orgy we mentioned before? Well, here it is. We can thank Maryann Forrester for the outdoor, citywide sex parties of season two. She turns out to be a maenad, or a female follower of the Greek god Dionysus, who can't seem to help herself from making other people have sex.

Anytime Eric is naked, it's a good thing. But things get a little more freaky than usual in this scene from season five when he gets into a passionate love-making sesh with a new character, Nora. You later find out she's his vampire "sister," making this quite possibly the hottest incest you've ever seen. (That is, until she returns for a round of apology-sex...)

Jason and the Fangbanger
It's been a while since this raunchy scene from season one, but we haven't forgotten that time Jason hooked up with a fangbanger (one who likes to, you know, get banged by those with fangs) who was into some uber crazy S&M stuff — mainly choking, blood sucking and then hooking up with other guys while watching

Because no vampire show is complete without werewolves, True Blood includes the supernaturals in its plot as well. Not that we're complaining, since their packmaster is the tall, dark, and handsome Alcide, played by Joe Manganiello. For a long time we were hoping he and Sookie to get together and do the deed, but in season five we got something even better: Alcide knockin' paws with fellow werewolf, Rikki. Apparently vampires aren't the only ones that know how to screw.

Jessica brings a lot to the table: her luscious red locks, plus the fact that she's a perpetual virgin and, well, a vampire. We loved her with mama's boy, Hoyt, but if you wanted to see her naked, it had to be with Jason — because, duh.

And no, we don't mean murders him figuratively cause the sex is so great. We mean, he seduces his enemy's lover and then stabs him in the heart with a wooden stake mid-nailing him from behind. And that's not even the most sadistic thing that's happened on the show.

If you weren't waiting for Eric and Sookie to get together since the first time you saw his beautiful blond head appear on screen, you need to check yourself. It took four seasons and a case of amnesia for her to finally ditch old Bill Northman and fulfill fans' ultimate True Blood hook-up dreams. And when they finally do, it involves some sexy exchanging of blood and a trippy, al fresco sex session.

Bill and his maker (the vampire that turned him and serves as is vampire "mother") Lorena have a pretty screwed up relationship. For one, she turned him against his will into a blood-sucking creature, essentially stealing him away from his wife and child. That doesn't stop them from hooking up, though, in one of the most unforgettable, twisted (pun intended) scenes in the show's entirety. We will never think about hate-sex the same way again.

Bill and Sookie Reunited
For fans on Team Bill, this season one scene is by far one of the best from the whole show. After mourning her dead vampire lover for an evening, Sookie wanders into the graveyard to cry some more. But of course, Bill isn't dead, and literally rises from the grave for sexy time with his favorite fairy. It doesn't get more hot and dirty than doing it on the ground in a cemetery at night with a vampire.
