If you're pumped about Spring Training, gearing up for March Madness, or even sick of the local sports teams' general suck-age,  you can find a spot to cheer, bitch, and moan with fellow fans on Phoenix.Fanster.com.

This site contains separate blogs for several local sports teams, including the obvious (Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Diamondbacks), as well as our college teams and less recognized franchises in the Valley (like WNBA team the Phoenix Mercury, the only sports team in our state's history to win two championships).

The Phoenix Suns blog, in particular, contains Q&A's with players that you won't read anywhere else. Here, basketball fans can read things like how Jason Richardson feels about Phoenix trading him to Orlando, or what Grant Hill thought of team mate Channing Frye's amazing performances the last week of February.

But it's not all sunshine and disillusionment at Fanster, which is why we like their blogs so much. If something sucks, the bloggers at Fanster will call it.

For example, the Arizona Cardinals blog is blunt about "how badly the Cardinals botched the quarterback maneuvering last offseason after the retirement of Kurt Warner," and how having a crappy quarterback affects star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

The Arizona Diamondbacks blog bemoaned the December sale of Rusty Ryal to Japan, and criticized the Diamondbacks' mass trading of veterans last year ("The 2011 Arizona Diamondbacks now consist of a rather bland collection of light-hitting position players").

What makes the blogs on Fanster further noteworthy is that readers can tell they were written by dedicated and well-informed sports fans. Bloggers include Vince Marotta, a die-hard Valley sports fan since 1979; Greg Esposito, a founding member of AZSportsHub.com; and Jerry Brown, who covered sports for the East Valley Tribune for 19 years.

So whether you're lamenting the Cardinals' latest loss or toasting the Suns' latest buzzer-beater victory, you're bound to find someone who agrees (and healthily disagrees) at  Phoenix.Fanster.com.
