A little romance, some drama, big laughs, car chases, cowboys, and more make up this month's lineup of must-see films in the Phoenix area.

Furious 7 Opens Friday, April 3
Vin Diesel is claiming this installment in the Furious franchise is going to win Best Picture next year. At the Oscars. And he's serious. First things first: No, it's not. But, what better way to say farewell to Paul Walker than what is sure to be a roller coaster of emotions, fast cars, beautiful women and more action than you can even imagine? The cast includes Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Kurt Russell. Want to go full throttle? Watch the previous six films in one sitting right before heading to the theater.
Clouds of Sils Maria Opens Friday, April 10
Speaking of surprising awards, Kristen Stewart won a César Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in this film, which means she won the French equivalent of an Oscar. Don't let her Twilight stint fool you; she's one hell of an actress and with her win became the first American actress to do so. The film follows a veteran actress (Juliette Binoche) who comes face-to-face with an uncomfortable reflection of herself when she agrees to take part in a revival of the play that launched her career 20 years earlier.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail FilmBar Friday, April 10, through Monday, April 13
If you've never seen this film, we're actually kind of jealous because you could experience it for the first time on the big screen. We're also kind of judging you because, um, what rock have you been living under? This is one of the funniest, most quotable films of all time and it's the kind of humor that's been known to result in side-splitting guffaws. (But don't worry, it's only a flesh wound.) Grab your coconuts and a buddy and gallop on over to see this one before it's gone.
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid Tuesday, April 21 at select Harkins Theatres
The Tuesday Night Classics series that Harkins Theatres has been putting on will salute westerns this month. You should probably also see Blazing Saddles on April 28, but we're guessing fewer of you have seen Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and that is just a crying shame. In an era when Hollywood was churning out hundreds cowboy movies that all tended to follow the same plot line, in came Butch and Sundance to turn the genre upside-down. With a bad-guys-as-heroes plot, this film ushered in a dynamic decade of movie-making that challenged the status quo. Keep an ear out for Oscar-winning "Rain Drops Keep Falling on My Head."
Age of Adaline Opens Friday, April 24
After miraculously remaining 29 years old for almost eight decades, Adaline Bowman has lived a solitary existence, never allowing herself to get close to anyone who might reveal her secret. We're actually not convinced that titular star Blake Lively doesn't have a similar real-life version of this where she manages to look the same both before and after having a baby. Not that we're jealous. Anyway, the film looks thought-provoking at least and begs the question: What would you do if you could stay young forever?
